It's fiesta time! Make your own Piñata!

It's fiesta time! Make your own Piñata!

It was my daughter's birthday the other day, and as a fun activity for her and her friends, I made a piñata out of a balloon. The process is very simple and you could even do it with your kids. It is a craft activity that your kids will love making and whacking! I made mine look like a fish because the theme of her party was cats and they all had to pretend to be cats trying to catch a big fish! In this blog, I'm going to share another type of bird feeder which I find works better for bigger birds. It's been such a delight to watch birds come in and out of our little garden feeding themselves. My daughter loves the book "Shh! We have a Plan" by Chris Haughton and everytime we see a bird stop by, she goes "shhhhhhhhhhhhh". This bird feeder is also super simple to make so enjoy making...

DIY Bird Feeders

How are you all dealing with entertaining your kids at home? It's a big job to come up with activity ideas that are not only interesting but allows you to keep safe social distance from other people. I am still taking my toddler out for small walks every day, just to get some fresh air. Being in nature gives us a mood boost and it gives us hope to see the signs of spring as we take a stroll. I do hope the Dutch government will not ban people from going out in general, I think people need to go...
