I'm probably way late to the whole Easter craft craze but if you are like me and organising a last minute Easter crafting, here's an easy one for you and guess what? All you need is one milk carton.
Step 1 - Spread open the milk carton and cut it up as shown below. The black line indicates where you need to cut.
Once you cut the carton, it should look like this ↓
Step 2 - Glue the flaps together. I used double sided tape for this step but regular stick glue and hot glue gun would also do the trick.
Step 3 - Trim the area that sticks out of the box.
Step 4 - Attach one of the strips, this becomes the handle.
And voilà! Decorate the basket with your kids and enjoy hunting for some Easter eggs!
I made the same baskets for kids in my arts and crafts workshop over at International School Delft. They loved it! And I must say, they did such a great job decorating the baskets and the eggs.
